You want to start working with AI? Great.
Before you do so, remember that everything that comes out of your AI, is only as good as what you put into it.
If you have years of rubbish collected across your organization, outdated processes, old documentation, and information that doesn’t make any sense anymore, AI won’t magically fix that. It will work with the same mess.
If you already struggle to keep knowledge up to date and accessible for employees without AI, then I’m afraid AI isn’t suddenly going to solve that problem for you.
Think of it like your closet. Over the years, you keep adding things. Papers, boxes, clothes you haven’t touched in years. At some point, the solution isn’t to buy a bigger closet. You first need to decide what you actually still need.
The same applies to the systems you want to apply AI to. If they consist of old documents, duplicate information and knowledge nobody trusts anymore, why would you bring AI on top of that?
Maybe the age of AI doesn’t mean we need to add even more.
Maybe it gives us a reason to finally remove what we should have removed years ago.
